Valiant Farm

Valiant Farm, Shetland sheep, Tucson, AZ, is located in Pima County and the Sonoran Desert near Phoenix. They have bred Shetland sheep for over ten years, following breed club guidelines and conducting regular health screenings and genetic assessments.

The flock grazes on native grasses with shelters that shield animals from harsh sunlight and wind. Lambs receive daily handling from an early age and interact with other livestock to support calm temperaments. The farm grew out of a family homestead, and the owners draw on generations of experience to maintain balanced bloodlines and well-crafted fleece for fiber enthusiasts. Most of their sheep carry natural colored fleeces valued by handspinners for their rich texture and warmth. Lambing occurs in early spring when pastures begin to rejuvenate.
