Imperial Farm

Imperial Farm raises San Clemente goats in Bartow, GA, located in the Southeast Georgia coastal plain near Savannah. Owner Wendy Palmer has worked with this rare breed for several years, is active in a national breed registry and conducts routine health screenings.

Daily interaction from bottle feeding to pasture time ensures that each goat is well-socialized and accustomed to human company. The herd follows rotational grazing on mixed grasses, and barns are equipped with seasonal shelters to maintain dry bedding and proper ventilation. Goats are rotated through shaded paddocks and have constant access to clean water, with hoof trimming and vaccinations scheduled through a local veterinarian. Imperial Farm also participates in a conservation effort to preserve San Clemente genetics and support breed resilience. All breeding records are shared openly, offering detailed lineage and performance data for each kid. A shaded run and roomy stalls support natural behaviors, and simple wood structures offer enrichment throughout the day.
