Enno Farm

Enno Farm is home to Shetland sheep in Walnut Cove, NC in Stokes County and the Piedmont Triad near Greensboro. Angela King has been raising Shetland sheep for several years, following breed association guidelines and conducting regular health screenings, including hoof checks and parasite control. The flock grazes on pasture with rotational grazing practices and access to a sheltered barn, allowing lambs to grow in a calm environment. Daily interaction helps young sheep become accustomed to handling, supporting both fiber quality and temperament.

The farm’s emphasis on small flock management ensures individual attention and a focus on maintaining the breed’s natural hardiness and fine fleece. Enno Farm’s Shetland sheep offer a glimpse into sustainable fiber production rooted in careful husbandry. During lambing season ewes receive extra care and Angela carefully selects rams for fleece density and color variety. The farm also offers guidance on wool processing for fiber artists.
