Sunset Meadow Farm

Sunset Meadow Farm, Scottish Highland cattle, Paris, TN, Henry County and northwest Tennessee near Memphis. It is run by Melanie Holt, who maintains membership in the American Highland Cattle Association, conducts annual health screenings on all breeding stock, and prioritizes proven strength of dam lines. Established in 2010, the farm draws on a longstanding family tradition of livestock stewardship.

The farm spans over fifty acres of rolling pastures and a refurbished timber-frame barn. The herd grazes on mixed grass fields and receives supplemental hay during colder months under a low-stress handling approach. Calves are socialized from birth, becoming accustomed to farm routines and frequent visits from neighbors.
