I’m Elliott, a veterinarian and farmer in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. I’m also a husband, father of five, and Army officer who just can’t stop thinking about how to make life and work better for people like me who love animals.
When I started buying highland cattle and miniature donkeys a few years ago, I honestly couldn’t believe there wasn’t already a modern, secure online marketplace for live animals. So I started building Creatures to solve my own problems, creating a transparent community for buying and selling, while also making it fun and easy to keep up with health, breeding, registrations, and all the other records in one place.
It’s already been a game‑changer for me to have every photo, video, and record in a single profile for each animal. Now I can just copy a link and send it to a potential buyer, my vet, or a friend and know they’ll see the full picture instantly.
My crazy hope is that Creatures can be the online home for every known and loved animal around the world. I’m glad you’re here!
Yes, I know I grew taller (and a bit uglier!) than I was supposed to, but my dad says it's okay since I'm such a friendly girl. He also says we need to normalize sharing height measurements!

Ebony unfortunately slipped her calf a couple weeks ago. She is doing well afterward and hopefully will be covered by our bull Grover for a fall ‘26 calf.
