"This is a book that warms the heart and fills the soul with lovely reflections on the special bond between humans and their animals friends. It is both educational and inspiring in the way that it guides children though a deeper understanding of the unique gifts that animals have and share with us."
"It is with great sadness that I find daily that some children have never touched the soft muzzle of a calf or heard the wonderful nickering of a horse. Quality time spent with an animal of any species can open up our hearts to the true values and meaning of life. Dr. Pomerance has a wonderful way of communication not only to children but a mature audience as well her uplifting and inspiring messages about the human-animal bond. This is an outstanding book that I believe will be as meaningful to others as it is to me and my family.
Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened.
